![]() ![]() Not that I tuned in except for a few minutes here and there, but WWE has now become just three vague letters that mean little to me. There are other wrestling shows, but those are the ones I make sure to catch as often as possible. Getting back to the rasslin', in the past week I've seen the following shows either in whole or in part: It's difficult to fully convey how liberating it is to actually have choices when it comes to watching wrestling on the box. ![]() Thanks to The Fight Network which became available on February 1, I've been in pig heaven when it comes to televised wrestling. The RINGS shows I watched, mostly from 1995 & 96, were fabulous. This is the new 2-disc version that's longer than the PPV version I'd previously seen. Of late, I've been watching a lot of RINGS and Pride. With the exception of a couple of matches I thought it was one of the worse Manias. Also, the infamous Fritz heart attack is on this tape. Ken Mantell did a great job booking World Class here. Great interviews as well.particularly Buddy Roberts' where he attempts to convince Hayes he's a changed man. Michael Hayes is a phenom here he's in the best shape of his career. Gordy stuff, Von Erichs, Iceman as a heel, Terry Taylor, Samoan Swat Team, etc. I watched a fun World Class tape from 1988. Plus as is always in my VCR or DVD player, MSG house shows. Wrestlemania 14 No matter what I think about Shawn, he really gave a GUTSY performance considering what shape his back was in.
